Vortech Visconti Tuned on BRZ Limited
 

This will be my install / information log. My BRZ is the first sports car I have purchased brand new - I figured it should also be my first modded car :)

I decided to go super charged forced induction a week after owning the car based on various youtube videos and forum posts.

** May 27th
Decided to take the plunge with ft86speedfactory and their Memorial day sale. It's about to be christmas in June for me :D

** May 28th
Due to a shipping vs billing address issue had to cancel the ft86speedfactory order. Now out $4755.56 for a few days until the cc charge refunds :mad0260:

Ah well - Looks like I will be hopefully getting a 3" Perrin exhaust after all!

Did a Dyno run all stock

Installed Rotors, Pads, Lines, transmission mount, engine mount, header, overpipe, front high flow catted pipe.

** June 12th
Installed my rear cusco bar, hood dampeners, and the crawford aos.

Had 50% tint installed

Ordered some more parts

** June 18th
Ordered replica CS Style front lip and side skirts
Picked up Oil cooler, front strut bar, diff support bar, and Perrin 3" Catback from @Pure Automotive !!

Installed my Perrin 3" Catback system. The car sounds SICK!

** June 23rd
Installed the Beatrush Rear Differential Support. I was expecting an increase of NHV, but to my surprise this actually reduced that.

Shifts and acceleration are so smooth now, this is one of the best upgrades you can put on this car.

Anyone thinking about upgrading mounts/bushings, you should upgrade all three places.

To recap what I have installed:

* Perrin Transmission Support Bushing (you could skip this to make things more quiet)
* Whiteline Rear Positive Shift Bushing
* Beatrush Rear Differential Support

My Vortech is on a truck somewhere.. Hope it shows up today! My p3 gauges are supposed to show up tomorrow... Looks like this weekend will be install day!

** June 27th

Received Vortech, started the install, was up until 2am working on the car.

** June 28th

Continued the install at 5pm, called it quits at 4am when the Tune failed to flash onto the car

** June 29th

Got a new Tune file from @Visconti , managed to lose the air bleeder screw for the radiator system while burping it :( , ordered a new one from subaru

** July 4th

Received the air bleeder screw, finished burping the radiator, drove the car around a lot ;) pictures and more info coming soon

Are u getting a catch can or AOS?

I'd like to go with an aos. I would need some kind of instructions or guidance to put that in.

I'm going with the crawford AOS. BRZclub has a video about how to install it on youtube.

Did you opt for the 3" perrin exhaust since you're going FI? Better gains :)

I wasn't aware of that option.. I'll send the vendor an email and see about upgrading the order

Who is carrying a 3" perrin header back system? ft86speedfactory only shows 2.5" perrin stuff

I don't think it's technically out yet. The only folks who got em were those who attended the Perrin event and purchased it directly.

Ah okay. Maybe next year i'll replace with a 3" system if I go for more powah
