I still wonder why they mounted the 3rd brakelight like that. Couldn't they have tucked it in more or have a solid unit instead of the pegs showing!? :iono:

probably for viewing angle...

id rather have room for passengers in the back not some tires i probably wont use for a very long time.

WingsofWar 02-16-2012 04:41 PM

these pictures blow my mind....if i tried to put tires stacked like that on my s14 or rx7 it wouldn't work.

Maybe that rear parcel shelf has a forward slope to it and they wanted a better angle for the led assembly. Or they actually thought it would look cool.it does look a little DIY'ish/unfinished though ill give you that

This has always been the case no matter what vehicle. Usually hasn't stopped most people from swapping before. I currently have three different vins on my car. Trunk and front bumper were swapped out.

I wonder if the seats are all the way or not. I doubt it.

...trying to judge the seating position from the pics.

I'd love to see a video of them getting the wheels in there. That can't be easy.

cyde01 02-16-2012 05:07 PM

would be a lot easier with a hatch in the back but hey, whatevs.:iono:

Laika 02-16-2012 05:15 PM

sweet pictures. What are those strap looking things on the front seats? For pulling them forward/pushing them back?

A hatch would make the car heavier. That's why it is a coupe according to Toyota\Subaru...
