Signal Lights
 

Hey guys
I've been wondering all day about light colours and etc. I've been wanting to swap out those amber turn signals, front and rear. I'm not planning on going tacky and putting weird colours on, but I want clear white light. People say they are not very visible in day light, but I am planning on getting them bright enough to be visible. I've been doing a lot of readings and even read up the E.R.A.S.E thing from the yrp. It states that its legal to have white signal lights on the front end of the vehicle but illegal at the back. Now... I've had white turn signals on my 08 accord for at least 4 yrs, cops have tailed me on turns, and even during a pull over for other reasons, I have yet to get commented. So my question is, would I get bitch slapped by a random cop in the GTA because I have front and rear, clear, turn signals? I'm also considering the fact that its a sports car now, and the cops might be less tolerant and more anal? But again... I find that theres such a huge grey area in what cops care and not care about... please educate me :/

White in the rear is annoying to drivers behind you too, the lens on the FRS is 100% clear so the people behind you get the full brightness of the bulb in their face.

I went with switchback bulbs front, and stock rear for now.

Cuz i know the lens on the accord is also clear, the bulb was perfectly fine when i was driving behind it when my sister was driving. Its pretty good for me, even though i have astigmatism. But i guess theres really no answer to is it really gonna get me in trouble or not?

My buddy went through something similar with lighting colours on his 240SX. Turn signals front must be amber, only reverse lights are aloud to be white in the rear as far as I can remember. Most cops don't know but if you get that one guys that does it's not worth it. At the end of the day it is your call though.

I've done similar to what wparsons has done, switch back V2 for the fronts and actually picked up Chromed Amber bulbs for the rear (I REALLY hated the amber reflection the bulb gave in the tail light). I think I got my bulbs online for 14 for a pair+shipping. I'm pretty sure u can get LED rear indicators for like 30 bucks or something in the commercial marketplace section here.
