Why? I was under the impression they were light (for an OE alloy wheel at least). Let me see if I can find the actual weight.

~20lbs for a 17x7, not heavy for an OE wheel but I wouldn't actually advertise it as lightweight when we are talking about an enthusiast car.

The main weird part to me is the forum and the "hacking" of Scion R&D, it's just not professional. I liked the video up until that point though and thought it was very well done.

Agreed. That was sort of what I meant about timing, but overall the video would have been better without that "scenario".
