Headers

Hi guys,

I am starting to see lots of info from vendors (mainly US) who are claiming they have reduced or eliminated the torque dip with their replacement headers.

If anyone has done this already and could share their experience I would appreciate it as I am cnsidering this as my next mod. Cheers. :happy0180:

A cheap mod is to changeover the expansion joints in your factory headers.. I cut mine open to find that both outlets had an additional liner tube inside which is seriously smaller than the other side..
I had the braided expansion joints put in .. have not driven with it but has to be better !! I will keep everyone informed.. I hope to have a pre dyno on the old one with the modified one after..

Do you know what make are claiming this ??

Cheers for this. Apparently the Borla one has just been tested with great results but questions over the build quality. Another is FT86club but I would really like to see some independant tests before I shell out!

The Borla headers do reduce the dip a little. But just like all headers you'll need a tune to remove it completely.
I'm working on a tune ATM for my 4-1 race headers. Will post an update when it's finished.
