Forza 4 Lap Time Competition
 

This is a friendly Forza 4 "buy and drive" competition in which we race with different cars in different classes



I. TRACKS
Will be updated every 15 days or so.
Refer to "Current Competition"

II. RACING RULES
Mods (if any) will be posted under CURRENT COMPETITION
(If STOCK) Stock means STOCK. From factory settings. No Aero, no wheels, nothing done at all to the car
Traction Contol = Off
ABS can be ON
Stability Control OFF
Suggested line - most you can have is ONLY BRAKING
Simulation Driving not Normal
You should have to wear a helmet at home while playing to simulate realism..... Or your time doesn't count
Valid lap times only
No cheating!



III. SUBMISSION RULES
Attach/link a screenshot showing your time and post your results in this format:

Submissions will be accepted until midnight EST on the last day of the month. You can resubmit as you improve your laps, but only your best time per track per transmission will be listed (so if you want to submit for both paddles and clutch, you can).

This is optional, but feel free to attach your ghost replays. Post yours and ask for pointers. Or if you're good, help out the rest of us by showing us how it's done!

Man it's hard with the controller and no aids on! It's going to be tough on faster tracks! :D

Make sure you state which route on the track to take, there are mult courses for each track

Hey Guys,

I'm totally down for this. But I realized that we have 2 problems with this idea so far.

First off, you didn't mention the PI point value of your stock S2000. I realize that everyone should know the difference between a stock car and a non-stock car. But its worth mentioning what the PI should be before everyone starts racing.

EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't realize you guys were posting a Photo of your times. WOW that photo is blurry as hell. I can't even read the time.

I will be playing along with this though. I plan on running some laps as soon as I get home.

Yes BONE STOCK - NO UPGRADES

You missed the point. Post the PI of your stock S2000 so nobody is confused. Don't just say "STOCK" because someone may look at their car and not realize they have a part installed like weight reduction or something.

I have like 300+ cars in my garage so I might accidentally pick a car thinking its stock when it actually isn't. The PI will correct this though.

PS: If any of you need help trying to figure out how to get the clutch to work with a regular controller, I have the best controller config. It works really well once you adapt to it. Takes about an hour of solid driving to get used to it.

and btw. bone stock s2k PI is 435. :thumbsup: i just bought one for this challenge lol

hm maybe we can just pick rivals events, and add each other as friends to see each others times? can you create your own rivals event somehow?
