Leather interior
I'm not sure if this was discussed or not but the leather seats on the Limited BRZ trim...how do you take care of / maintain it? Is it real leather or fake simulated leather? I've noticed some creases on the bottom left side of the drivers seat where I get in and out of and don't know how to care for it since this is my first car with leather interior.
Thanks in advance!! |
Plenty of leather conditioning products on the market. Just depends what you like I guess.
Used to go with Lexol but I don't like that anymore. For conditioning only I like chemical guys pure leather conditioner as it conditions while adding some UV protection Meguiars makes a nice over the counter leather cleaner & conditioner thats pretty widely available and works well. One of my clients insists I use that only. Comes out of the can like shaving cream foam and smells great Biggest concern would be not to get any on the suede / alcantara. So use care not to get all sloppy with it whatever product you choose |
Thanks for the info Mr. Sparkle!!

Ever notice that rubberized piece on the inside of the door sill? For better idea, it's right below and to the left of your left thigh when sitting in the driver's seat. That single piece was made out of the rubber-ish material instead of hard plastic because you're supposed to push against it with your left hand to hoist yourself out of the car. If you're worried about hurting your seats, that is what you need to do when you egress.
