shift indicator sticker

so i have a blox shift knob installed and for me to not get hassled by cops i'll need something indicating the shift points. so i figured a bubbled sticker indicating the gear positions, or a plackard kind of like the one people have been putting where the heated seats switch are located for the brz.
anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry for replying without a solution, but I can't believe this is something officials would actually enforce. I try not to get political online but that's just ridiculous.

you think thats bad.. man.. my city sucks we have die hard Vehicle inspection units that come out every cruise night trying to ding anything that looks "modded" drive like a douche or not, if its an import you're at risk. and these tickets aint cheap either..

shift indicator i think is 200 and something dollars..

I have to agree, this sounds like a rather obtuse reason for a cop to hassle someone, let alone issue a citation. Has this actually happened to you or something?
edit- you beat me to it! That's bananas!

If you really need it, I (or anyone else) could create a graphic image that you could take to a local sign/sticker shop.

Here's a quick google image search with a bunch of 6sp shift patterns

i haven't gotten a ticket yet, but its probably only a matter of time (knock on wood) tbh i thought about bringing my stock shift knob but i figured it'd be more of a hassle putting it on before the cop approaches me and i have to replace it with my stock one in time.

i could have sworn ebay had a really good one i just can't find it anymore..

worse case scenario does anyone know that dude that makes those custom 86 center console plackards?

Why in the world is this legally required?? What if the symbols on the turn signal stalk rub off? Is that a fine too?

Just one more reason to never more to Winterpeg. That sucks man.

Do you think an engraving shop could put that pattern on it?

Here you go: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.ca/viewit...d=360270300577

A little pricey, but way cheaper than a $200 ticket.
