Used FRS...Rip off much?

Steven's Creek Subaru in San Jose, CA is selling a used FRS w/ 11,300 miles on it for $27,995. Such a good deal...right? -_____- I honestly do not understand why they are offering that car at that price...bunch of crooks...

As I said in the other thread,

Those guys told me they had the exact FJ I wanted over the phone before I drove over there. When I got there, it was 4x2 not 4x4 and tried to sell it to me.. Idiots.

Haha! Yessir, no problem. I wanted to make a thread for people too after I saw your comment. People must be made aware of the shenanigans at some dealerships.

So here is what happens: different areas have premiums for vehicles. My area has FR-S's marked to nearly 30k out the door. I ended up paying 25k by driving 130 miles south.

Kaster 05-23-2013 06:11 PM

Its ridiculous they would think I would actually buy a two wheel drive truck when I explicitly stated exactly what I wanted was the four wheel drive version. Totally waisted my time.

supply and demand

I like your style

TRD-X 05-23-2013 06:22 PM

There's a old saying.....there's a @ss for every seat.

They will find some fool that will buy this car for it's asking price.

Like stated above anyone wanting a FR-S should shop around and be willing to drive a few hundred miles for that better deal. ;)

Damn when I was looking into the FRS I was thinking about getting a used one for roughly 22-24k, unfortunately for me they were all sold out within a week so I ended up getting a new one instead.

Bought an FRS down the street from the dealer in question $27.3k out the door (tax, title, licence included), 6 miles on the odometer.

Bay Area is screwed up, more money than brains, that car WILL sell, maybe not for asking price but not much below it.

kioton32 05-23-2013 07:32 PM

It says premium package... I didn't know the FRS had any other trims... I thought the only options Were the head unit and spoiler... Lol... Whoever buys this car won't have done enough research...

frslee 05-23-2013 07:44 PM

hahahahahahah what a joke

BlaineWasHere 05-23-2013 07:51 PM

That is a local dealer that is infamous for being assholes. LOL. I'm gonna go over there and laugh at the sales guys.

Mad_Mike 05-23-2013 09:14 PM
