EcuTek Datalogging Question

Maybe i'm on an old version or something, but how (if possible) do you save the parameter layout so that when you open up the logging feature again the parameters you selected are still there?

Every time I choose my parameters it always resets. I thought the dropdown option of "save layout as default" or whatever did this, but obviously it doesn't. Just something that is really annoying since it takes me longer to filter through the selection of parameter I need than doing the damn log

I was hoping I was just having some kind of brain fart and missed it.

Thats pretty disappointing honestly. Such a minor thing but it is so annoying.

Thanks @Dynotronics1 (for the answer, and depression lol)

I used to get annoyed by it but I know know the process so well I can do it in seconds. The save layout option seems to just save the columns rather than the rows.

Why are you trying to filter the logging? Most tuners just tell you to log every data item. When its time to view the date, what I do is open it in excel/open office and hide or delete the columns I don't want.

Anyone know if ECUTek can datalog on a stock ECU? or is a license required for that as well? I'd like to get some datalogs of a friends non-flashed car for comparison.

Original tuner had asked for certain parameters for tuning. When I moved over to another tuner, I had asked if he wanted the same parameters and he said yes along with a few others that aren't listed by default.

Its something that should be standard IMHO. I've been datalogging my girlfriends stage 2 wrx with accessport and my god does it make me hate EcuTek and miss my sti with AP lol.
