I have the same problem. Real world tuning doesn't translate. Just don't do any of that awd drifting.

About 90% of it does. A few things, tuning wise, are kinda stupid, but its still pretty easy to adjust. My gt is TLDrft86. If you play online and you wanna learn, just hit me up.

sadly I dont have live.

My problem is on forza 3 I could drift all day long no probl, then when I got 4, it's not the same, the ass end likes to over correct after you start coming out of a drift automatically sending you into another drift in the opposite direction, I tried correcting it with my suspension and roll bars but it def doesn't do any good, at least where I've tried tuning it.

Turning off simulated steering makes it 18x easier to connect without over steering into a wall.

BoostJunkie 02-15-2012 11:33 AM

Really? Is that one of the difficulty settings before each race? Like disabling traction control?
Or somewhere else?

Make sure you have most of the assists turned off. I didn't have any problem transitioning from Forza 3 to Forza 4 drifting, I think it's mainly due to people leaving on simulations assists.

You can change all the settings in the main difficulty menu and they'll stay with you for every race.

BoostJunkie 02-15-2012 12:10 PM

I never used any assists on 3, everything was always off. Same on 4, but it just seems like the car always over corrects when you come out of a big drift. I think what midship was stating before soy da good, but if he's talking about an aid like that the. It's already been off and I need to figure out a tuning solution

Wow the iPhone is kicking my thumbs ass today
