MT and my 1/4 mile is 3 hours.

Damn, you beat me by like 15 minutes. Guess I need to work on my launch.

I was able to take a nap. So that long.

You have to go 3k rpms past red line when you launch.

Slow enough that I do not even consider it worth dropping the $20 to go to a friday night test -n- tune to find out.

The twins were designed to carve corners not excel in a straight line, unless your running F/I of course.

I of course plan for FI and more of the straight line stuff than others.... with just a muffler delete, and minimal prep (didn't play with tire pressures etc) I ran a 12.6 in the 1k' (there are not any 1/4 mile tracks within a few hours away), that would roughly equate to a 14.6-14.8 in the 1/4. Mine is a MT. I've done a few little things since then but until I go FI I don't anticipate seeing the times get much quicker.

You can google 1/4 mile on stock car of any car !

the thread is not about stock is more about modded cars to see how well they translate to actual use, and... to have fun with it! lol everybody and their mother knows the purpose of this car, but just because you like tracking it doesn't mean you can't use it in a drag strip. discuss

I'm gonna go with 1:30 seconds but I'm a little out of shape. If I could stop eating these damn chocolate covered caramels I might be able to improve my time.
