Hi, guys
I post a poll to receive from you suggestions.
On the new set of wheels http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37160
I wish install new tyres against the stock one (Premacy). I will run some track-days but I don't prefer to have specific tyres for race that aren't road legal.
Therefore, which one of these maybe the best option?
Some warnings:
-Italian's road aren't the Switzerland roads;
-I live in Northern Italy, Turin (45 miles from France border)
-I love to trip among Mountains during Spring and Summer (MontCenis, MontGeneve, Sestrieres and Aosta Valley), speed limit in accordance :thumbup:
-in winter season I run winter tyres

why are those prices so expensive? tire rack is much cheaper. the R1R's are around 130 euros. Also, 225's fit better than 215's on a 7.5" wheel

These are Euro Germany Prices from Gommadiretto (the cheaper for us as road legal). Maybe other fit (larger ,wider or common measure) may have lower price.

I wish use only the fit that we have on register card in Italy. R1R have road omologation as R888 and KU36 and so no fear....driving to circuit.
In Italy we cannot drive with tyres not included in registration card and no road legal (BRZ in Italy fits legal only 215/45R17 and Subaru doesn't authorize other fitments while Toyota issues upon request, the authorization for 18"). Risk (if you meet Police) is at a worth of 600 Euros and seizure of car registration card and new registration action (750 Euros). Plate is marked for life....(in Northern Italy almost.....). Often it happens.....

What about BF Goodrich Rivals or Dunlop Direzza ZII's?

Uhm...never tried, no experience. Can you tell more about these ones?

you have a list of barely-worth-mentioning tires and the expensive-for-no-reason-and-not-all-that-great high performance tires....


your choice should be between Hankook RS3, BFG Rivals, or Dunlop Direzza Pizza Slica whatever (the long name ones).

they are all sticky and they are all affordable.

the most important think is that these ones you suggest me are EU road legal during road trasfer.
On previous car I run with race tires Slick Michelin CUP, but the car wasn't registered and no trouble therefore.
I wish a "demi" option...some track days and road use at the same time. I know that this isn't the best option.....but Italy must be accepted so as you find.... crazy :happyanim:

Ordinary near circuit.....1.350 euros gone. By the way..on the other side, you can pass red light as Fast 'n Furious and nothing it happens, sometimes.

It's horrible our road code.....outseries wheels are admitted only after constructor auth and testing by civil engine offfice....we dream your chance. Germany is better about TUV. If Tuv says ok you can install everything....some italians export cars to germany for sale (it needs italy cancelation of plate) and re-enter in Italy with german paper with 18 wheels for BRZ, after that they "naturalize" as italian(new italian plate) the proper car previously exported.. We cannot install nothing other not included in car registration card......all europe manage itself so, Germany is the better one, more permissive.Only historic cars can have strong modification ...with no trouble.
Here means that race cars run only in circuit... Road cars run only in road and cannot install race parts.

Continental ExtremeContact DW's. These are a summer tire with an outstanding price point, great performance, lots of tread, and my road noise is the same or even slightly quieter than the stock Prius tires. Highly recommend.
