It's not going to be anything like Horizon. Thank God.

How was anyone confused by what Horizon was supposed to be? It wasn't even made by Turn 10. A different studio took the assets from Forza 4 and made an arcade racing game so T10 could work on FM5, they were clear on that from the time the game was announced. Anyone disappointed with it obviously did not actually look into the game before buying it.
I enjoyed Horizon because I knew when I bought it that it would not be FM4 with open world racing. A lot of people are saying they won't buy FM5 if it is just FM4 with new wheels, cars, and tracks. Frankly I think that's the best case scenario and I would absolutely buy it... just once the first iteration of Xbox One fails and they release a gaming console that doesn't require a constant online connection and lock games to a single console. |
I knew what Horizon wasn't supposed to be. I just didn't expect it to be THAT bad. Thankfully I was only messing around with the demo, and didn't invest any hard earned dollars lol. Although, I could see its appeal for those who love the arcade-racer types.

Horizon is a different beast. It was never suppose to be near Forza 4 or anything. I enjoy playing Horizon for the fun and I enjoy Forza 4 for the challenge.

Anyone know if fujimi kaido will be on fm5
|
Nope. Just 14 tracks (12 if you exclude Top Gear ones). No Fujimi, no Nurburgring, no Tsukuba = no sale.
Oh and none of your Microsoft of 3rd party 360 wheels will work. You can only use the new XBO wheels. |
No Nurburging? Ok then...

But as has been said, Forza has branched. Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon. Two different takes on the Forza franchise. |
