So is this a temporary solution until the Lexus V8 is smoothed out or is he sticking with this solution? I assumed he was sponsored by Toyota so I wouldn't expect them to be cool with this, but I guess he was just buying the engines from them.

He's not sponsored by Toyota. He have connection with Toyota, but not sponsored.
