FRS is barely larger than a Miata?
i was at my local Scion dealer today inquire about the FRS, the guy there told me they already received 15 refundable deposits for the car. the car will arrive late spring early summer, no idea on final pricing and dealer allocations. anyway, i asked him whether the FRS is similar to TC in terms of size, he said it's definitely smaller than TC and barely larger than a Miata, can anyone confirm this? from all the pictures i've seen so far, it's a good size 2+2, definitely noticeably larger than the Miata.

Toyota 86 166.9 inches long Scion FR-S 166.9 inches long Subaru BRZ 166.9 inches long Mazda MX-5 158.3 inches long Nissan 370z 167.1 inches long Porsche 981 (2012 Boxster) 172.2 inches long The FR-S is right between the size of the AE86 and the 370Z....perfect size..much better than a miata. 8.6 inches makes a big difference! Also the FR-S weights about 500 pounds less than a base model 370Z!!!! |
