$1000 off of FR-S till end of May!

Hey everybody FYI. Here in Phoenix, Az Camelback Toyota is offering $1000 off of all their current inventory of FR-S' until the end of May. I just bought my black asphalt last Saturday and got the best deal. Hope some of you guys can take advantage of this deal like I did! :)

I got a deal in New Hampshire as well, I got $500 dealer rebate and $500 college grad for $1k off. (Scion of Nashua).
Ask for Tony, he will hook you up, I've had a bad experience with another one of their sales guys. Man was that other guy hurt when he saw I bought the car from Tony when I turned him down 2 weeks earlier...

Almost makes me think that this is the latest trick by salesholes? Create an account on random enthusiast forums and rave about a particular dealership / salesperson and tell stories about "sweet deals!"

Fishy...

Mister 05-21-2013 11:33 AM

I am sorry if I gave the impression that I am "fishing" for deals.
I had a horrible experience with one sales guy at the Nashua of Scion, and left (he offered me half of what my trade was worth) and he acted like he knew way more then I did about the FR-S and I should just shut up and take the trade.
I left, but they were the only one that had a manual available and went back, had a different sales guy and had a great experience.

There is a shortage of good salesmen at dealerships and it leads to a lot of frustrations for many of us. I thought people might find it useful information if they are shopping in the greater Boston area.

I in no way work for Toyota/Scion, or personally know anyone that works there.

It was a sweet deal and believe me I was shocked about it, I am not fully convinced that the $500 dealer rebate was real or just playing with the numbers, but the Grad discount is real enough, and I did go OTD for 24,800 (TTL). No sales tax in NH.

For some odd reason, its the same thing here in Saudi Arabia with the GT86 ( he told me u have until the end of May). But here its 1300$

Dude... I bought my car last Saturday and had one the easiest purchases I ever made. I told them what I wanted and I got everything I wanted. As for "fishy"... I'm just trying to let people know who want to buy this car. The "people" who don't have one yet and read this forum. FYI I've been reading this forum for the past six months and finally pulled the trigger to buy it. Got so excited that I just recently joined because I finally had one. As for "sweet deals!" I got one so I'm letting everyone know.

anyone familiar with scion cars? How much off will 2013 models be when 2014 ones are out?

TRD-X 05-21-2013 05:59 PM

It's all about selling the 2013 models so dealer can stock the new 2014 models time to buy if you don't own a FR-S.

If you are asking about FR-S ... not much as it's still hot on the market.

For other scion cars, it will be slightly cheaper, I meant SLIGHTLY, as it's not a very liquid market.

Generally, they don't discount to move inventory. That's how they completely botched the xD launch. They had a huge marketing campaign, but wouldn't put the cars out until the xA's sold. They wouldn't discount to move the xA's so they sat for months.

Long story short, the marketing campaign was long forgotten by the time xD's hit showrooms.
