cross-country auto transport at its finest

so my EDIT: BRAND NEW brz finally made its way to Virginia all the way from Colorado on the lower deck of an auto transport truck. some 2000+ miles later...

...auto-jizz? aka i don't want to know what type of car fluid this might be

i'd rather drive through a saharan haboob.

:mad0260:

anybody ever seen an equally dirty (or god forbid, dirtier) brz? on the bright side, here it is after an emergency wash through the local touchless:

i don't think the automotive fluid dripped from the car above me left any permanent damage, otherwise i'd have about 10+ blemishes all over the trunk/roof/quarter panel. sigh.

My personal experience was that the availability and price of out-of-state dealers (in the snow/salt belt) was much better than any local dealership in the Mid-A.

As mentioned above, price. I got a Limited A/T with 1a + cargo mat for $27.8k shipped to my door by buying out of state

Whoever wiped their fooking hands on the trunk is a ****. Now if you did it a key tip is to not rub dirt into your paint.

This was also often the case here in sunny California.

I consider myself lucky, I got mine made and shipped to me and it's in pristine condition.

That was me, I took a wet paper towel to immediately dab off the yellow-brown fluid wherever I could find it. Afterward it occurred to me to take a picture of the remaining spots on the roof in the off chance it permanently damaged the clear coat. I considered going out to buy car washing equipment, but figured it was so dirty that I didn't want to physically rub any of the crap into the paint and scratch it, hence the touchless wash.
