NW Dealerships Best to work with?

I killed my battery by having the trunk open for about 3 weeks without realizing.
It's dead dead. Won't hold a charge..

Problem is, toyota wants me to tow the car in so they can look at it just to change the battery.

I don't want to do that because they'll give me shit about being low and I really don't want to have to put the damned car on a flatbed. You guys know anyone that'll be lenient about this kind of stuff or who could possibly swap batteries for me without having to bring the car in? At least a good experience with service at a dealer? I don't think I'd trust magic toyota very much.

Thanks in advance

Just curious, does it have to be at a dealership? Why not swap it out yourself or something? I think there are some insurance companies that have mobile battery cars, your insurance might have something like that.

warranty = i don't pay for a new battery

Don't go to the dealer

Take the dead battery out, walk to auto parts store or Sears and get a new battery. Give them the bad one for a core charge. Walk home and put new battery in car.

This advice will most likely cost you the least and provide the least hassle. I seriously doubt Toyota is going to buy you another battery.

Don't have anyone that you can jump the car off of and let it run for a bit?

I assume you've taken the battery to autozone or similar and had them do a battery test to confirm? That would be my next step.

Tried jumping, doesn't take. Trickle charged it at O'reilly's but it doesn't hold.
@Pete, that's probably what I'll end up doing.

Sears makes good batteries (Diehard) that aren't too expensive. Their platinum series is the best.

Warranty will only cover defects in craftsmanship or manufacturing, under normal use and installation. I don't think your situation would qualify, unfortunately.

Good luck!

also why would the dealer give you an issue for being low when you're going in with a battery issue.

They have to put it on their service rack. I'd never make it on. Fluid level is right at the upper line.

Why would the dealer replace the battery under warranty? If you left the trunk open, and were to tell them that, wouldn't you be at fault? Unless there's some coverage I'm not aware of...
