Demon Eyes

Update 5/19/2013
  • Added a DIY guide!
  • Added day shots! I hooked it up temporarily to the park lights (one click of the lights). I had my DRLs turned off at the stealership. Making a DIY guide right now.

you shouldnt have to worry about the red paint, but its all about how the officer feels that day.

No, just LED, I really only want the look at evening/night.

You can achieve a brighter evening/night look without having red accents during the day by painting the limiters white, just FYI. :)

I would like to do this to my car, but since you obviously disassembled the headlamp to do this, have you had any problems with them being foggy/having dirt build-up at all?

Hardrock4445 05-19-2013 01:25 PM

I haven't.

Dirt, not if you're careful. I was. Once you get the lens half off and let it cool for a bit, wrap it in seran wrap. I also used canned air/dust buster and microfiber towels.

Condensation only happens if you didn't press the two halves really well together (I use industrial-sized clamps), or if the sealant has dried up from multiple baking. If the latter, you can get more sealant here: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=792

That roll is good for a dozen headlights.
