Anyone forsee a New Silvia / 240sx to come ?
 

I read a while back, there was rumors of Nissan bringing back the 240/Silvia. Def curious now, the GT 86 / FR-S / BRZ they will kick it in high gear and bring one back! Def be cool stuff and a market for them !!!

Anyone hear any rumors lately?

rumours that I last heard was that Nissan was thinking about bring thr Datsun name back as their affordable cheap tuner car brand and make a 240sx revival if the ft86 proves that there is a solid market for it

Thus why I am waiting about 2 years for the FRS/BRZ.

Honestly, I want to see what Nissan can really do nowadays. The new 2012 GT-R is amazing, but the previous models (R35) can't compare.

I mean, Juke? Convertible crossover? 370z? What has happened Nissan! :(

well correct me if i'm wrong...but have you guys seen the new nissan commercial of the nissan leaf...at the end of commercial there was a "Datsun 240sx concept"

some say its the new 370Z...others say the new 240sx...

Hmm 200SX (no turbo for obvious reasons) sounds like it would be a suitable rival, if Nissan will ever get around to it.

I thought that was jut an EV they are working on, it's something like a Tesla Roadster... more then a 240

Heard rumor that Z will go hybrid next generation. The concept above might be just Z hybrid.

Yeah 240SX approx 27XXlbs , be cool to see a modern twist of it like the FR-S / GT 86 /BRZ idea , small / light Rwd modern 240sx/silvia be Great! Esp as there are soo many 240's out there for drift / racing events, def Popular Car!!

YIKES that 240Z concept is horrible....

More Competition the Better, just pushes automakers to make one better than the other!!! :thumbsup:

I hope the silvia actually looks like a sports car next time. I never liked its profile at all.

The Silvia is a badass platform to work with. It would be cool to see Nissan do something and bring it back, but I have a feeling it would be ugly as hell, and the price would suck.
