Thread size for BRZ / FRS Antenna
 

Hi,

This may be a silly question, but does anyone know the thread size for the factory BRZ / FRS Antenna? I assume it is metric just curious if anyone knew the exact size.

I want to know this as well. I was planning on using an old S2000 antenna

Not sure, but I put my antenna on the missus's 2008 VW Rabbit after I got my Perrin shorty antenna. Now you have two reference points.

I just sold a 240sx S14 with a VQ 350Z engine & trans to but a BRZ. The short antenna works like poop compared to the stock 240sx antenna. I's like to find an antenna that works.

This doesn't answer the OPs question, but at least the FRS and my brothers 2012 Honda Fit have the same exact thread size. It's pretty crazy how close they are in size. The FRS antenna is only about 1mm longer. Left Antenna is FRS, right is Fit
