No. . but I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night so maybe that's why.

You could get a rough estimate with a plumb line, a tape measure, and some trig. ;)

I need me some camber.

hapa_kcm 05-17-2013 11:50 AM

I can tell you after installing those bolts and a 1" drop I had -1.5°

troek 05-17-2013 11:57 AM

theres an app called clinometer if you have an iphone. its been accurate within .1 degree on me and my buddies cars after alignment.

Are you guys trying to correct your camber, or get it to be more negative? im confused.

When i dropped my car the rear went negative so i want to bring it back to zero, obviously i cant use these cam bolts, so is my only option to buy 500 dollar LCA's?

normanb21 05-17-2013 12:35 PM

I was tryin to get more negative. I'm still on stock ride height

You have a few options.

1. Raise the car up
2. Get LCA's
3. Get UCA's
4. Get Whiteline UCA bushings
5. Some have used a modified camber bolt in the LCA to subframe connection to get some camber adjustment.

I hope you plan on an alignment .. change to camber changes toe as well and you really need to set it up properly if you want it to handle correctly. camber is almost never the same side to side stock, so maxing out the lobe on the crash bolts will not result in the same camber on each side and as a result toe will not only change, but likely go wonky (more toe in or out one side than the other).

Ok thanks for the info. Anybody know how to adjust toe?

Adjust or measure?
A few ways to measure, search google and youtube.

To adjust, look at the tie rod ends for a lock nut, the look on the steering arm for an octagonal section designed for a wrench, loosen the lock nut, turn the arm to adjust, re tighten lock nut.

Unless your going to spend a lot of time making 4 level (with each other) slip plate platforms (cheap way is using water level, floor tiles, and table salt) and learning to do a full string alignment, your better off going to a reputable shop.

It's very easy to screw your alignment up. Better off to get a good alignment to start with, then see if you can perfect your measuring system to get the same numbers they got on the rack. Then, make a few small changes and see if you can get it back to the original settings etc etc.

you probably have around 1 degree. That's all I was able to get with crash bolts. Now that I have RCE yellows and crash bolts, I have 1.4
