Scion FRS Logo Font?

Does anyone know the font of the 'FR-S' emblem/logo? (Or at least something similar?)

:thanks:

^ this!!!

i'm curious as well

There's no font for the FR-S logo or the 86 emblem, improvised design.
It's a custom bold sans serif with cuts between the shoulders of the
"F" and "R". Strokes resemble track design IMO.

I am failing to understand this thread. what is going on here?

"Does anyone know the font of the FR-S logo?" what does that even mean?

My apologies :bonk:, I wasn't able to post a picture, see below.

I realize it's a custom 'font' but I was trying to figure out the base font that was used, or possibly one that is very similar.

(I am making a custom shift knob and need a font to use).

i beleive "front" is a typo of "font"

As far as finding a similar font, you're gonna have to find 3 different fonts. I think it'll be easier to just replicate the design, depending on the project.

EDIT: Maybe I can help?

@ FRSTRM- It's more of a drawing than a font. The closest you'll get
without copying the design is something like bold Futura, or any other modern
typeface in bold if you're sticking to using default fonts. I agree with Crispybread
on tracing the design. If that's not an option try searching an open font website.

I'm ordering the shift knob and showed him the attached image (another user posted a few weeks ago).

He asked what the font of the FRS is and I can't figure out which is the closest to the real thing. I can just go back to testing all the fonts I can find. Was just hoping someone had come across this before and knew the answer.

Thanks!

starwars font is pretty close

Does he need the font for engraving, printing, etc?

Yes, engraving (a titanium shift knob).

Likely going with Concielian font (see below)
