Camber bolt on KW V3

Hi all -

I'm using KW V3 with OEM top hat.

Here's my question -

The KW V3 came with slotted upper hole, when install, I put the bolt as inward as possible to archive max camber.

Today I got it measured and I have -0.6 left and -1.1 rear.

If I want to get a bit more camber, but don't want to get camber plate/Com-C
my option would be to use the crash bolt.

Given KW V3 has a slotted upper hole, does this change anything? what bolt should I use for it?

Thanks,
Derek

it's fine. you can use the crash bolt fine.

but the washer tab's inner tab won't make contact to the hole because it's slotted, I push the bolt to the inner most position, and the inner washer tab is facing outside?

bumping up old thread

I currently have kwv3, oem hat, oem lower bolt (14mm), oem crash upper bolt (14mm) and was able to get -2.5. I'm trying to get to -3. would camber bolts like spc even work on a kwv3? note that the upper hole is slotted while the lower hole is not.

I had heard generic advise to not use camberbolts in slotted holes.
In OP's case i'd probably would use camberbolt in non slotted hole, and normal bolt in slotted one.
Or if something like crashbolt is used in slotted hole (be it real camberbolt, or "OEM" which is simply of smaller size to allow play for adjustment) + something extra to lessen chance of slipping. For example hack of using paint/epoxy/blue locktite.
