Oil change on low cars?
Have any of you guys driving low on coils (mine are Eibach R1 all the way down) taken your car to Toyota dealerships for oil changes? Trying to figure out if I may have a problem when I go. Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. They have blocks of wood or ramps if necessary. They can even jack it up slightly to get the arms underneath the car. The BRZ/FRS may be lowered a lot, but if a jack can get underneath Robispec's and our car (which happened to be lower than his at one point), it should be fine.

get some 2x6 as said . there you should be high enough to fit a jack underneath

I use this, plus I put a hockey puck in the center. You could also drive up a 1 1/2" x 8" for extra clearance.

For doing oil changes, I also picked up a fumoto valve, so I only need to raise the car enough to get under it with my arm and a drain pan. The rest is done up top. |
