Oil change on low cars?

Have any of you guys driving low on coils (mine are Eibach R1 all the way down) taken your car to Toyota dealerships for oil changes? Trying to figure out if I may have a problem when I go. Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. They have blocks of wood or ramps if necessary. They can even jack it up slightly to get the arms underneath the car. The BRZ/FRS may be lowered a lot, but if a jack can get underneath Robispec's and our car (which happened to be lower than his at one point), it should be fine.

Get some 2x4s. The BRZ/FRS, even slammed, is not as low as a slammed S2000 UNLESS you are Stance:Nation. 2x4s + progressive ramps will get you there. :)

I wish i can fit a jack under my car

I have one of these, it is kind of hard to wheel around but works well.

Quoted for truth. It's almost like the engineers KNEW that the car was going to be lowered ;) - much more ground clearance than s2k, even when wheels look way more tucked.

get some 2x6 as said . there you should be high enough to fit a jack underneath

I use this, plus I put a hockey puck in the center. You could also drive up a 1 1/2" x 8" for extra clearance.

I picked up this same jack a few months ago specifically for the BRZ, found a coupon for $99. It even reaches all the way to the rear diff under the bumper and muffler can after the front has been raised and the factory side jack locations are on jack stands. If the car were slammed, it might not fit, but 2x4's or 2x6's would easily remedy that. Unfortunately it's damn heavy at 93lbs, so it might not be going to the track.

For doing oil changes, I also picked up a fumoto valve, so I only need to raise the car enough to get under it with my arm and a drain pan. The rest is done up top.

Do yourself a favor, and bring a drink of something for the tech doing it. Having to deal with racking a car as low as you say is going to piss him off. A little peace offering can really go a long way, especially if you plan on returning to the same dealership. It would definitely start building a good relationship with the guy fixing it, and could only benefit down the road if some sort of warranty job was a judgement type call.

LOL i actually need 2 2x4s stacked on top of eachother under each wheel to get my jack under . so i guess i am stance nation.

My old car- http://www.stancenation.com/2012/09/...ed-subaru-sti/

the process to get a jack under there was even harder.
