Good idea.

I for one always thought and still somewhat think that company abercrombie & fitch and their products are just for bitches anyways. And I had heard that A&F burns their clothes rather than donating which is pretty frickin' stuck up.

So you know what the next time I do see someone who has any other their clothes just lying around their room or house, I'll take it and donate it to homeless person.

I hate those "high-end" trendy companies like American Eagle, A&F & other over priced D-Bag stuff. I enjoy wearing dress clothes.

What's that?

I just buy my shirts in bulk from Costco, they are called Hanes.

You know as much as I think this is a good move to make the company look worst, I'm afraid that it might still not do that much in a big picture. I'm just going by an example in the past I believe it was polo?or Ralph Lauren or some thing didn't want African Americans wearing his clothing. And I still see Polo everywhere *shrugs* even on african americans so it's not like going to shut down the company or something as much as a villain as this Abercrombie guy is.

I completely agree. But sometimes the little mental win is all one needs. It's like that secretive middle finger you give your boss. haha

No matter what those stores try and sell, nothing beats fresh white tees right out of the pack.

Threadless.

Sure that's cool. But so are fresh tees from small indie printers. ;)

I agree with the business plan but the CEO is still a D-bag...

1: Define market
2: Cater to market
3: Protect brand

Pretty sound business plan. He just presented himself as a douche in explaining a rather fundamental business strategy which is something he should have refrained from. The irony is not lost on the fact that the CEO of a company that sells D-bag uniforms is, himself, a D-bag.

The problem with putting the clothing on homeless people is that you might just shift the image of A&F (or instead of shift, "expand") to the Hipster market. They'll be like, "Oh that shirt is dope, I bought one for a homeless guy and one for myself, cuz like, you know.. I wanted to pay it forward while I was standing in line for my iPhone 6."

He's one ugly guy imo. The irony.
