Removing rear brake rotors?
I recently put some new wheels on my car and I want to run 10mm spacers and I have a pair with extended studs... Im having some trouble getting the rear rotors off though... Its been a while since ive done this... but last time I did it was on my tC which was FWD...
is there anything different? or would I just have to adjust the ebrake tension thing and then use a mallet to get the rotor off? Thanks! |
Make sure parking brake is off. Rotor may be seized to the hub; lightly tap the inboard side of the rotor with a rubber mallet at equidistant points. There should also be two threaded holes in the rotor hat that you can insert a bolt into in order to break the hat free of the hub.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but does anyone here know what size bolts go into the threaded holes in the rotor?
