Passangers seat

When people try to access the rear of the car do you notice any issue where the passenger's seat doesn;t look forward at all?

Is this normal?

The drivers lock forward but not the passengers :S
Also the drivers doesn't go forward like the passengers either it has to be controlled by the seat slider to move forward also :S

The seat back needs to be pushed all the way back for the base to lock into a position. This may be difficult if someone's knees are stopping the seatback from going all the way back.

Normal for the side-release/foot release to only move the passenger seat forwards, not the driver's. There's currently three Toyotas and a Nissan on this property that act that way. ;) Just the way the Japanese do it. Also, to lock the seat base you do need to move the slider all the way back. It's to allow quick and easy access to the rear seat via the passenger seat. Same in the S13, A4 and A6 Celicas, S12, S14-- Name a Japanese 2-door and it's probably the same. Just the way they work, mate.
