Recommended Tire Pressure for Aftermarket Wheels and Tires

Any need to change tire pressure when running aftermarket wheels and tires? What are your thoughts? For reference, I'm running a square set up. Wheels are 18 x 8.5 and tires are 225/40-18 all around.

Thanks in advance :D.

..... this really depends on what you want to do with your car, how you want to change your handling dynamics etc

Who ever mounts your tires will probably have a decent idea what the general PSI would be. you can technically go with a lower PSI on a stiffer side wall etc.

Heck there is a vehicle out there that runs 12 PSI on its tires because it is so light...so PSI really depends on the vehicle set up.

I started with stock 35 psi on my new tires, but I kept them higher just to keep rolling resistance down. In general the more pressure you run the smaller the contact patch.
