Spring install
I have the pro kit and was wondering what the average price is to have a shop install springs. This is my first time having this swapped and I'm not sure what the going price on this is. I got a quote for 800-900$, but that seems like a lot to me. Am I right or wrong ?:iono:
If it's over $200 I'm probably going to follow the tutorial with a buddy. |
@Drivendarren i think does it for like a case of beer.

$800-900 for a spring install? That's absolutely crazy. I've done spring installs on two cars so far, it's only taken me 2-3 hours, and I'm pretty inexperienced. A case of beer is the standard fare on a car forum. Or rent a spring compressor and do it yourself.

its actually extremely easy to install springs. if you can find a buddy who's done it before then its pretty fail safe
|
Thanks guys. I'll probably follow Darren's tutorial and rent the tools from AutoZone.
|
Or you can have Darren do it for a bunch of beer

Ya $800 is crazy, I've gotten lowering springs installed from the dealer (kendall in eugene) for $250 with the alignment.

We are always looking for another record breaker... current record is 45 minutes from wheels up to wheels down. :)
