I'm looking to order a 2014 model, but looking to skip a late fall delivery and focus on an April 2014 delivery. Is there any way to specify/request a specific month, or can they only go by approximate lead times?

You can tell them you want to wait until April, but they're probably going to say once you order it it'll come in and if you don't buy it, we'll sell it. No point in keeping it on the lot months just for you.

So most likely your best bet is to order in January and wait 3 months until April for it to arrive.
