Marketplace

As I see this site growing I think a marketplace would be a welcome addition. Adding one now vs after release of the new 86 for those wanting to hock some goods for down pament money would make sense. Obviously after release people will want to buy and trade parts as well as possible vendor listing and group buys. What do you think?

I think the idea's fine once the cars are released. Doing it now would invite scammers. I don't think the schwag shilled here is anything to build a subforum over just yet. But yeah, once we have parts to trade and sell, it'd be a good idea.

A marketplace and Classifieds are inevitable. But at the right time. Many of the members here are saving to buy the BRZ/FRS/86, so opening up a marketplace selling items right now to our members might be counter-productive to our cause in promoting more sales figures for the BRZ/FRS/86.

When we do get closer to launch, we will have vendors. Many of those vendors are hard at work right now setting up their aftermarket support, and before they can set up shop in forums they need to finalize and produce all of the products they plan on offering.

So its coming soon! the timing is key here.

If you need to sell items for your next car addiction. There are plenty of mediums still available. Craigslist, ebay, amazon, your local/regional forum classifieds. I know many of you are members of multiple car forums you can try there also..
