Why do all the aftermarket lights emulate each other?

Not sure, but I don't care for them personally. Once someone makes tail lights that look like this, I'm sold.

Porsche is nice. I think all our alternatives look cheap. Especially the light tube shiz.

Wouldn't mind something completely one-off like a lamborghini -esque type taillight or more exotic looking, just not cheap.

Aren't these just the chrome (or smoked?) version of the Spyder Auto/Sonar tails?

hmm they copy another one but dont improve on the problems they have.. what makes them think they will sell anymore? Lol sigh no worries though im super happy with valenti hahaha

i have no idea which one is the "real manufacturer"...theres like 10 other companies with these tails.. the problems are the pink light tubes ... and dim lights in them also they should have put some more lights in the tube so it goes all the way to both ends? i guess maybe its because those were knock offs then? im so lost i thought spyder or what ever was the first ones that had them on the market... im wrong then my bad..http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ht+compilation Helix was never mentioned... so i assumed it was another knock off...

most lights are like HID kits. all made in the same manufacturing plant and labeled differently for worldwide distribution

Helix is NOT the original manufacturer. Amistad International from Taiwan is.

Helix, just like Sonar and the likes, is probably just another trading company that resells them..

you are right but the smoked black version is exclusively Helix's :thumbsup:

In my opinion all fo the aftermarket lights with the tube style just don't fit and look too pink, at least in photos. Need lights that are more RED and up to OEM standards of say Porsche, Audi, BMW...then I might change my mind. I would also have to have a red lens.

I think the aftermarket tails make the car look like a 16 year old is driving it too.

Maybe that is why I am sticking with the stocks and just getting a red out done! They look the best out of all the tails I have seen.
