My guess is the flush won't fix it, and sooner or later I'll get a new tranny. Then I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place and get one of the recommended Motul/other fluids people use to fix the problem. I was just paranoid about a different fluid voiding the warranty.

dang that sucks I feel like I should drive a different frs once because my trannys never really felt like it shifts all that smooth, but it could be me being paranoid(my other car had tranny problems)

OK no big deal I wasn't sure if you'd be in town or moved yet

So, what? I'm not doing much this Sat. We can cruise around, burn fuel, and add miles to our cars if yall want.

I'll ask the crew if they wanna as well.

Yeah, there's a problem with a number of transmissions doing the same thing. Some people have had success simply swapping the tranny fluid for something better suited, but I didn't want to chance them denying a warranty claim. If I get a new tranny, I'll do it though.

Welp, just talked to Hanson and they're replacing the tranny. Waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday for a $5 shim they forgot to order. They found metal debris in the transmission fluid.
