PSM New Product Teaser - Rear Lower Control Arms

Check these out, coming soon from MAX, Scion FRS & Subaru BRZ Rear lower control arms. These will lower the car in the rear by dropping the rear coilover lower mounting point 25-40mm. When this arrives in the next few months it should be about $300 less than some options out there and there is more adjustability in this design.

Part of me feels like these would be very prone to rust, like most aftermarket controls arms tend to be.

Get it electropolished! I like the bronze. Let me know when these come out~

The coating on the arms is very durable, I know a few FD cars that have run the arms for a good 4 seasons now with no signs of wear.

Cool! It should last in my salty/humid location. Let us know when these come out.

Got you covered! I spoke with PSM today, once they are moved into their new shop they will get a rep on here to help with all the products they plan to roll out for the FRS this year. Have a good weekend!

Wth is going on with the adjustment section? Not really liking those 2 clamps

armythug 05-12-2013 06:54 AM

Nice. The look will have to grow on me. Never seen a design like that.

Are these prototypes? The last pic, with them on a car, has an additional gusset and there seems to be more welds then would be needed.
