Carbon Fiber Roof and hail
Soooo....we are getting a pretty bad storm here in TX with hail. My car has zero protection in the wide open parking lot and I'm already brainstorming repair alternatives to prepare for the worst.
I've seen some carbon fiber roof mods that seem to be pretty nice. My question (a stupid one probably) is how do these install? Are these just an overlay on the existing roof for cosmetics only? |
This is what I get for not searching. Looks like the only ones out right now are just overlays. Meh...not sure I like slapping extra pounds on the roof just to cover up dings. Sorry for the spam guys.

LOL...yeah, I found this already. I was sitting here during the storm wishing I had ordered it earlier. Sun's out, car is spared. Might have to bite on this.

I had my STI down in Dallas for a couple years during grad school and didn't get a single ding from the icecube-sized hail. My wife's shiny new 07 Civic Si was dinged to hell. I hope the BRZ's sheet metal is just as resilient...
