HPF in Portland closes after employee loots 200k!
Did you guys hear that HPF closed shop with out notice on 05-06-2013. I guess an employee embezzled over 200k over a 2 year period. The owner was fighting with insurance company and lost on 05-05-2013. The next day went in and fired everyone and locked the doors.

Yes my friend had his Supra worked on there (about 20k invested) and they called him to get his car ASAP before agents come and close down the shop. He had about $1,500 left on his bill that he didn't have to pay, the owner said they are taking everything any ways, so just go.
Sad story regardless.. |
WOW I was just in there 2 weeks ago talking shop.... Crazy

I've had a bit of work done on my car there.. Wow. Oh well. Life goes on. More biz for PRE.

Chances are high the owner has/will declare bankruptcy, wait for the dust to settle, then restart the shop under a different name.

The emzlement is not the reasoning why Chris shut down his shop. That took place acouple years back . He couldn't afford the 13k a month in rent because he wasn't getting the buisness he needed and was giving himself more salary then what he could afford. So he tried doing loans and tried merging but nothing worked out. Unfortunately it was long over do and expected by many. So he declared bankruptcy and left town leaving everything behind in the shop. Which the bank owns now.
