Take a hot lap with Ryan Tuerck in the Retaks Scoin FR-S @ FD Long Beach

Ive know Ryan Tuerck for a few years now and its awesome to see how far he has come in his driving career.

With the second round of Formula D this weekend in Atlanta, the boys at NetworkA wanted to show you what its like riding along in the Retaks Scion FR-S.

Ryan's FRS is powered by a 2JZ engine (So glad he dropped the LS idea). Long beach is a tight course with walls on all ends. :party0030:

Why did he pick the 2JZ over the LS motor?

And is Ryan Tuerck the same in real life as he is in all his youtube videos?

Because 2jz rules. Actually I dont know why he went that route, but I bet it had to do with his sponsors, plus the fact he has those lying around back home, hes used to that engine. Maybe to keep an all Toyota platform.

He is who he is, in the videos is who he is in person. Very cool dude with a humble vibe that likes to get crazy. Rocks out, blows stuff up, drives cars super hard, builds things, like to slay tires.

The DA guys used to spend a lot of time in our compound (Before we were TAP) because we had a dyno shop, next to a fab shop, next to a paint shop, next to an alignment place. Very cool bunch of dudes.
