Windshield Wiper Marks

Does anyone know how to get rid of this? This is right after a rain and even when it's dry you can see a dry mark and it's annoying to say the least. I've tried scrubbing it when I washed the car and it's still there...

I have that exact mark when it rains.

Same problem here.

tried clay?

I usually get a mark that follows the edge of the wiper. The wiper fluid usually gets it, but then that leaves shit on the sides...

I recently clayed my windshield, but haven't had the chance to drive in the rain.

Try following the video. It uses 0000 steel wool to rub the glass. It's very easy on glass, so it won't leave any mark. I'll try this sometime later when I start to get the wiper mark.

It was raining here all day. I pulled my car in the shop at work dried the windshield then waxed it and no more mark. Drove home in rain and never showed up. Not sure if wax is the cure but first time never seen mark

rain x liquid is basically wax for glass. You apply it and let it haze then wipe it off the exact same way. I use it and it definitely cuts back on how often I clean my windows.

Getting better wipers helps too. Rain-x latitude wipers don't leave any streaks at all.

Rain-x works for me

What's the size for our wiper blades? The walmart rain x book doesn't have our models yet. Nothing for FR-S or BRZ.

TL;DR: 22" driver side, 20" passenger side.

Awesome. Thanks

Bon-Ami cleanser was the go-to product in the old days for cleaning and polishing glass. It was recommended by all the auto manufacturers back then. Toothpaste might work also, has an extremely fine abrasive for polishing.

Rain-X tends to build up and eventually makes things look foggy at night. I used to swear by it but finally gave up. Got sick of having to scrub it off and start over just to see.

Griots makes a clay especially for glass - I've never tried it so I don't know if it works or is just a lot of hype.
