I walked to my car after work and noticed a paper slip on my windshield. I immediately thought I got a ticket but when I read it, I'll admit I smiled. Our employee parking lot is actually shared with a local soccer field where a lotta teens have their games.

This kid basically wants to borrow my car for his senior prom and as much as I would love to, no way in hell will I lend a $30,000 to a teenager. I feel bad having to say no. I'll probably invite him to drive my car around WITH me in the passenger though. But I was curious to hear what you guys think or what you would do.

LOL H-hellll noooo! I hardly let anyone touch my car let alone someone I don't know in high school who may be some reckless dude.

Um... NO!

If I knew the kid I'd let him. After talking to his parents and getting him daily insurance for that day..
But total stranger ? Not gonna happen!

"Can I borrow it for this weekend?"

I would not even lend it to him even if he paid for rental; not to a stranger teenager anyways... Go work for your own car kid! Or use your parent's Corolla!
