Two laps at Mosport DDT
 

Last two laps of the day during the Hanson International Advanced Driving School at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Driver Development Track on April 20, 2013.

Stock wheels & tires on their third HPDE. Carbotech XP10 front and XP8 rear. P&L stainless steel brake lines. ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Perrin Oil Cooler.

Another FR-S in my group with lighter/wider wheels and stickier tires showed my how much of a difference they make. Once he got those things warmed up (it was hovering around freezing all day) all I could do was get the hell out of his way!

I'd say you were doing pretty damn well in the stockers considering how cold it was that day (I was there with the blue FR-S).

And hell yes it was damn cold! Between trying to keep myself warm and having the father-in-law there as a spectator I didn't give myself much of a chance to socialize with my fellow 86ers. I should have recognized your car from your build thread. Would liked to have taken a closer look at your TRD toys.

I'm heading back out with Hanson in June and August. We'll see how these aging stock tires hold up to some abuse in the heat.

Don't sell yourself short. You weren't as easy as the STI's to catch out there and you were on the stock garbage tires! Nice driving!
