Changing Intake Snorkel

What are people's thoughts on changing the snorkel to suck more air? Any noticeable improvement? I imagine the stock snorkel gets ample amounts as is for NA, but this could be beneficial for FI. Syms claims a 8whp gain with this piece. At high speed, might achieve a ram air effect to intake more air.

The latest one I've come across is the Leg Motor Sport. It is much cheaper than the Syms intake, as it looks to be made of some plastic/composite, and not Carbon Fiber.

I have the MaxRacing duct combod with the TRD intake at higher speeds it feels like it wants to keep climbing, but I feel like some lower end torque is lost, might need a tune to utilize my setup.

Syms look good and save in case you met a certain amount of water on the road..

Forget about ram air. Complete baloney for the frs' speed. The stock unit is a nice long runner with a velocity stack design..I would suggest spending money elsewhere.
