Are you male or female?

People say this will be a chick car but judging by the active female posters I've seen on this forum (less than a handful) I find that hard to believe.

Votes will be anonymous. Vote away!

Are you Google trying to find "Hot women in my area"?

Male here

I doubt it will ever become a chick car. It's not what i see as what women deem cute historically. xB, miata, mini (new), etc.

But then again.. who the eff really knows what goes on in a woman's mind lol

I've seen girls in mustangs, Z cars, Camaros, and lifted 4x4 trucks. The line of chick car and guy car is pretty blurry now a days so i don't see why it would bother you if someone said "You drive a girls' car".

switchlanez 02-04-2012 03:26 AM

^I never said it bothered me, buddy. I drove the last gen Celica when it had inherited the "chick's car" title from the 90's. I quickly got over that stigma in high school and stuck with a Celica for 9 years after so I'm wayyy over the chick car label. And what replaced my Celica? A convertible (though I didn't care for soft-tops the same way girls do).

Some friends who are not really into the FR-S/BRZ are already calling it a chick's car. I've got years of experience on how that goes so it doesn't bother me one bit. It's just an interesting curiosity that I'm always attracted to cars that get this label. Guess it's just my taste.

And about the line blurring, I agree it's blurred somewhat. But I still see girls gravitating towards certain cars (some want a BRZ/FR-S) just because it makes for a nice "accessory" to complement them. They don't care about the story/engineering/performance behind the car to appreciate the purchase as we would. That's their "thing" and I'm not against it. Just an observation.

Well, in my area, I see chicks all the time (literally) in Challengers, Camaros, Mustangs, seen one that owns a Roush Mustang, another driving a Z06, SRT4's, and 350Z's. Those are the ones that come to my mind as of now. I like Miami lol

is this a trick question?
