iPhone track data logger app?

I can't find it anywhere in the search, anyone have experience and/or recommendations on an app for logging lap times, speeds, blah blah blah? I have an iPhone 5, not jail broken.

Harry's Lap Timer. It offers different tiers of options for different amounts of money. It has most tracks programmed in and you can also set up autocross courses in it. I think it cost about 20 bucks for the best version.

I read a few reviews from other sites on this one, seems to be the way to go. I think accuracy will depend on signal though.

Harry's is good if you have an additional external GPS plugged into the phone. Check out Emprum. they should have the GPS.

Harrys Lap Time is the best IMO for iOS. As others have said, get a Bluetooth GPS module and you've got a good setup for cheap.

Pair those with a mountek m5000 mount and you've got a nice setup.

This one?

I don't know if the mounting location will allow you to record you driving though. The only case I've found that could do that would be Igloo case, but that's like $80.

Yup, thats it. No, it won't allow video recording, I didn't even think of that. When I first started running harrys lap time, it didn't have a good video feature. I know run an AiM Solo DL and a gopro.

I was hoping to combine both data logging and video recording into my iPhone. Is the GoPro really worth the investment for just the video?

GoPro offers phenomal versatility for a ridiculously low pricepoint.

even back when it came out i was shocked to see it sell for so little.

I have a gopro hero 3, black edition.

I saw the igloo case at last AutoX, I think that'll be the one I get.

Just an alternate opinion. My previous gen GoPro just broke, and I replaced it with the GoPro 3 White and Black, both were un-reliable, very disappointing. And worst part which I just learned, GoPro does not repair your old cams when out of warranty. You have to buy new, huge waste.

I replaced all my go pros now with the Sony Action cam. It's just a hell of a lot more reliable and the battery life is 35% better. The new GoPro models from white to black have too many issues with battery drain and lock ups (Despite firmware and settings)

May not be an issue for some but when I am doing filming with 3 or 4 cams I'd rather have the reliability and believe me I have logged 100s of hours of footage on these things.

Been running 3 Sony Action Cams now and some other cams and very happy.

Thanks for the suggestion. What type of format does it record in? The last thing I want to do is import the file into Windows Movie Maker and convert it into MPEG4.

Records right to .MP4 no drama onto micro sd.
The biggest thing is the optical stabilizer, it works almost as well as my larger camera. Which when you mount it to the car you can't see any vibration.

1080p/60 (New Firmware)
1920×1080/30P
(HQ),1280×720/30P (STD,SLOW,SSLOW)
680×480/30P (VGA)

They just dropped the price on the non-wifi model to $179 on Amazon.
