Japanese Release Date
 

Hey guys, not sure if you've heard, but my friend in Japan says Toyota has announced the 86 will come out in Japan on April 6th.

can't tell if this is sarcastic or not. anywayz, i hadnt seen that info anywhere here, so thought i'd share. not that it affects most of us though.

more review videos on april 7! woot! hopefully our fate will be determined soon too....aug 6 is too far away :(

Yeah! One of the other threads discussing release suggests aug 6, IE 8/6

sure, it'd be cool numerically, but what about all the hair that i'd tear out of my head by then in anticipation!!

AND i'm worrired if they don't import manual version. That would just ruin everything :-(

Is it because people in China who want a "premium" (aka non-econobox) car always get auto? Does this typically happen? :O
On the bright side, the auto is pretty capable looking and looks like it will get better mpg if you shift right.

I think Asian date format is dd/mm/yyyy, So it should be June 8th, no?

oh you're right about asian date...but why do that for the FRS? Most of america wont understand!

Since I haven't seen the source stating anything about FR-S release date, I can't really say anything. If I'm not mistaken, Only the US use mm/dd/yyyy.
