keep the gtx2867 or get gtx3076

should i part out my fbm kit and upgrade to a gtx3076 or keep the 2867?
upgrading to the gtx3076 would more than likely require bigger intercooler as well.

I vote 3076... I'm extremely biased though. ;)

I had a 3071r on my gti everyone who had the 28 upgraded. Plus you have a built motor. It'll be great with the 30

It didn't make the power until you cranked the shit out of it. And they were seeing a max of anywhere of 270 to 320whp. This was on 1.8t vw motors with stock engines. I was getting 330 on 19 psi and 375whp with 24psi all pump gas. No catalytic converters. I know the gtx is different these were gt series turbos. Why sell whole entire kit

shit man hahaha. Well, i mean you can always run low enough boost so that you don't over do it couldn't you? Then when you can muster up some more cash for the fuel, just buy what ya need eh? lol

usptwins 05-04-2013 06:54 PM

If I was you since fa20club is doing all the work already I would sell the fbm kit and get their kit with a 35r. At some point you will want more power given the fact that you already have a built longblock. If you max out a 30r to be happy for now you will be in the same situation later when you decide to build the drivetrain and upgrade the fuel system.
