anyone running 18x9 front and 18x10 rear?

thinking about running 18x9 and 18x10 +35ish all around for a street/once in a while track set up. is anyone else running this or could provide some insight if this would be effective? would running 18x9+35ish all around be more effective?

Yes. people are

People are also judging those people for having such wide heavy tires.

So your call.

Higher offsets.

And please, if you do this, put the correct size tires on.

im running close to that with 18x9.5 e38 square w 255/35/18s all the way around. I have no fit issues with my setup, but i will say im really really close to the brake line retaining bracket on the rears. I can get a finger in between, but its pretty tight (inb4 thats what she said). Not sure if i would want to get any closer to it. My fronts poke a little, but with my lowering job theyve tucked in perfectly. I would say you should be able to make it work if its what u want.

My plan as well... Would be great for traction and running about a 255/35F and 275/35R

Are you guys running boost or something?

I see cars with double our horsepower running less rubber.

The new corvette stingrays run with less tyres.

These guys are just being insane for their own game of top trump.
