18x18.5 +22 square??
Anyone running 18x18.5 +22 square? will it even fit ok? I'm on stock suspension. I found an awesome deal on some wheels but need to verify this size before i pick them up
edit: 18x8.5. woops |
I think you typo'd.... tweece.
Unless you have a Wiiiiiiide body kit. |
lol that's what i figured. There's someone selling a +22 square setup locally cheap but that's probably why...
|
Maybe 18x8.5?
|
Are the wheels off of a farm vehicle?
|
ahh sorry i didn't even see that typo lol 18x8.5 +22 square. If i ever choose to take my brz to monster jam then i'll look into 18x18.5 lol woops
edit: no idea how i managed that typo twice and didn't even see it this whole time. i fail |
would 18x8.5 +22 stick out too far?

just dont want them to affect handling and also a bit worried about them kicking up rocks and damaging the paint as the roads here tend to be aweful

Stock offset is +48. Stock width is 7". With 8.5" +22, your outer wheel lip is a whopping 45mm (1 3/4") further outboard. And your scrub radius is now out of whack. And suspension stiffness is reduced (greater leverage ratio, reduced wheel rates).
I'd try to go with something more in the +40 to +45 range. |
clicked thread expecting to see 18X18 wheels

18x18.5?
Badass. I heard square wheels were the new cool thing for 2013 |
haha 18x18.5 wheels literally would look like a square when viewed from the side
18x8.5 +22 will poke too much imo with the zero to none camber coming from stock suspension = will look silly and feel different when driving will look good if you can dial in the right amount of camber and car is lowered |
