Interesting features on the FR-S...

You may already know this but thought I'd share;

1)in the interests of getting serious about lowering weight and the center of gravity, the FR-S's hood is fabricated out of ALUMINIUM.

2) FR-S has a second power outlet (in addition to the one in the center console)...it's located in the upper right rear of the glove compartment. Has a black plug installed by default.

Only the hood is aluminium.

Roof is just really REEEEAALLY thin sheet metal.

Err. Mah. Gherd. Mind blown. I thought I knew every nut and bolt on these damn cars and I still am able to learn a thing or two.

The roof is definitely steel. If a magnet sticks it isn't aluminum. I just looked at the car on the showroom floor and the BRZ's have the 12 volt outlet in the glove compartment as well.

The Canadian brochure states the trunk's aluminium... must be an error

Well I installed my rear spoiler today so I'm 100% sure the trunk is metal. ;)

per promotional brochure:
"The roof itself is made of an even lighter and stronger grade of steel, which keeps the CG lower."

If you pull the hand brake while driving, the car makes a weird smell.

Try pouring sugar into the gas tank, the car makes cookies.

Can someone make a how-to with pictures?

I noticed on my fr-s that there is a fog light indicator next to each turn signal indicator inside the dash. Must be for when you install the fog lights.
